A free set of pickers for people running giveaways: paste a link or a list, set the rules, draw a winner you can defend publicly.
How the draw actually works
The tool reads the comments already visible on a public post or video, removes duplicate entries from the same account, and draws from what is left using your browser's cryptographic random number generator, the same class of randomness used for security keys, not Math.random(). Filters apply before the draw, never after, so a result can't be quietly re-rolled into something more convenient.
Each draw reads a number of pages of comments rather than an entire thread, so on a very large post the pool is a portion of the comments rather than all of them, as the terms also say.
What it deliberately doesn't do
- It never asks for a login. A public post link is all it needs, and any tool asking for your account password to read public comments is asking for more than the job requires.
- It keeps no database. Comments are read live and discarded; the privacy page is short for that reason.
- It doesn't rank, score or weight entrants. A random draw that quietly favours anyone isn't a random draw.
The tools
Comment draws run on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube, or from any of them at once on the random comment picker. When the entries are a list rather than a comment section, the random name picker and random team generator run entirely in your browser.
